Review of Dubai Trip With Thrillophilia

I wanted to surprise my parents with an international trip. Coming from a middle class family, it has always been our dream to travel overseas. I really wanted this trip to go well as it was my first time taking my parents out on a trip. This is why I thought it would be best to take help from an eminent travel company.

As I was searching for travel packages, I came across Thrillophilia’s site. I was impressed by the variety of packages and a lot of positive reviews of Thrillophilia. Then I found a Dubai package for 5 days and 4 nights which seemed pretty good to me. I wanted to know more about the package so I dropped in an inquiry regarding the same.

The next day I received a call from a representative of the company. I asked all the questions that I had about the package. He was patient enough to answer them all politely, one by one. After getting all my doubts cleared, I immediately booked the package and completed all the formalities.

After finalising everything, I told my parents about it. My mother was definitely on the seventh cloud, unlike my father whose first reaction was to scold me for spending this much. But I knew that both of them were extremely happy and proud of their daughter. I booked the flight tickets, took my parents on a shopping date and then packed our bags for our first international trip.

About the trip

As soon as we arrived at the airport, I received a call from the same representative who informed me that our driver was waiting outside for us. We picked up our luggage from the baggage claim and easily found our driver right outside the exit gate of the airport. He greeted all of us with a pleasant smile and helped us load our luggage in the car. After that we proceeded towards our pre-booked hotel.

Our hotel was a beautiful 5-star property which had a swimming pool and a rooftop restaurant. It hardly took half an hour to complete the check-in formalities as Thrillophilia had already taken care of everything.

It was our leisure day so we thought of simply going out for dinner. In between we took some rest for a while and then started getting ready around 7 in the evening. We asked our driver to take us to a good restaurant which would be affordable. He took us to a pretty restaurant which was close to our hotel. We wanted to try something new so we ordered Machboos (seasoned rice), Chicken Salona and Manousheh Pizza. At night, after being completely stuffed, we chose to walk back to our hotel.

The next day, we visited the much awaited attraction, Burj Khalifa. We reached the 124th and then 125th floor of the tower. From there, we could see the entire Dubai city which was a remarkable sight. After spending 2-3 hours at Burj Khalifa, we headed towards our next destination which was the most exciting part of our trip.

We were going to the desert of Dubai, without which our trip would have been incomplete. There we spent hours taking pictures and making videos. Then the three of us enjoyed dune bashing which was the most adventurous thing I had experienced in my life. At night, we had a delicious BBQ dinner in the desert after which we returned back to our hotel.

Our day 3 itinerary included a visit to the IMG Worlds of Adventure which is the world’s largest indoor theme based entertainment zone. It was a very fun day where we met a few cartoon characters like Spiderman and Power Puff Girls. Not to forget, we tried almost all the rides including Thor Thunder Spin, The Velociraptor, Avengers Battle of Ultron and The Haunted Hotel. We ended our day with some shopping and purchased items like Avenger t-shirts, comic books, Marvel figures and some mugs to gift our friends.

On day 4 we were going on a yacht ride which was complimentary with our package. All three of us dressed up our best for the Dubai Marina Yacht ride. Our driver dropped us off at Dubai Marina from where we connected with the representative of the company to guide us further. We found our yacht and started our journey. It was a beautiful experience which we made sure to capture in our cameras. On our way back, we enjoyed a BBQ lunch at the yacht.

Our remaining day was at leisure so we decided to explore the city on our own. We asked our driver to take us to Kite Beach. At the beach, I tried windsurfing as well as kitesurfing. My parents were too scared to try these activities so I let them simply stay at the beach and record me. Then we sat on the beach, ordered some drinks and witnessed a beautiful sunset. After a tiring day, we headed back to our hotel.

The next day, we packed all our belongings and went down for breakfast. After breakfast, I completed all the check-out formalities, while the staff was loading our luggage in the car. It was time to end the trip and return back home with a plethora of happy memories.
